Worldline and Scheidt & Bachmann launch payment solution for fuel stations

Wednesday 26 January 2022 09:36 CET | News

France-based payment service provider Worldline has partnered with Germany-based Sheidt & Bachman to deploy a new payment solution for fuel stations across Europe.

The solution, which combines Worldline’s Petrol and Energy Suite, and S&B’s SIQMA Connect solution, is specifically tailored towards fuel retailers and will be implemented across Europe in 2022. The new product will provide drivers with a more seamless payment experience, allowing them to pay at the pump, carwash, instore etc.

Benefits of the solution deployed by Worldline and S&B will enable the top energy providers to enlarge, for instance, their payment means accepted and allow them to access new customers and sales channels. It covers the whole payment value chain, from payment acceptance to acquiring and value-added services, such as Worldline DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) and Worldline’s Pay and Drive wallet.
