Warid Telecom, Bank Alfalah launch Mobile Paisa

Pakistan-based mobile operator Warid Telecom and financial institution Bank Alfalah have unveiled the launch of their marketing campaign for branchless banking services under the brand name “Mobile Paisa” in Pakistan.

The service is launched in collaboration with Monet as the technology provider, who is using the technology of Visa International, to provide branchless banking solutions to banks and telcos nationwide.

The available services include money transfer, bill payments and customer mobile wallets while other services are in the pipeline for consumers, corporate and G2P which are set to be launched in the near future.
