UK people make 5.7 mln transactions per day via smartphones - report

Mobile banking app use for customers at the five major UK High Street banking groups almost doubled over the past year, recent findings indicate.

According to the British Bankers’ Association (BBA), at the moment, users perform 5.7 million transactions per day using smartphones.

Also, BBA stated that mobile banking is mostly used for day-to-day transactions like checking balance, paying bills, and taking out loans.
