Twitter acquires Tap Commerce in mobile advertising push

Twitter has unveiled that it has entered a deal to acquire mobile ad firm Tap Commerce to boost money-making tools at the one-to-many messaging service provider. The value of the agreement was not disclosed.

Tap Commerce focuses on getting people to ‘re-engage’ with applications installed, then ignored, on smartphones or tablet computers.
