Telinta, a global provider of cloud-based VoIP switching and billing solutions, has closed a definitive agreement with Singapore-based global mobile airtime transfer company TransferTo, an Ingenico company.

Under the terms of the agreement, Telinta’s telecom service provider customers are able to access their TransferTo mobile top-up account directly from Telinta’s hosted softswitch platform via API.

Founded in 2002, Telinta provides cloud-based switching and billing solutions for VoIP service providers worldwide. Telinta’s carrier-grade solutions include calling card, pinless, callback, hosted PBX, call centers, audio-conferencing, business and residential VoIP, wholesale VoIP and other services.

TransferTo is a global airtime remittance hub that interconnects mobile operators’ prepaid systems to deliver end-to-end cross-border services. TransferTo enables the transfer of small amounts of value in the form of prepaid mobile credits. TransferTo has been designed for migrants and travellers, who can remotely recharge the prepaid phones of their family and friends back home from their mobile phones, the internet or at a retail location.

In recent news, BlueKite, a provider of web-based platform which allows consumers to make cross-border bill payments worldwide, has entered a strategic alliance with TransferTo.
