Telespree is using VIEWS Developer to create a GSM version of Self-Service Set-Up, a highly automated wireless industry solution jointly developed with VeriSign, Inc. Self-Service Set-Up intuitively guides consumers through the activation and account set-up process using only the mobile device itself without the aid of a sales clerk or call center. VIEWS is a suite of development tools that integrates a GSM phone simulator and an Over-the-Air (OTA) host simulator in one desktop environment. Compliant with GSM standards 11.11 and 11.14, the SIM Tool Kit (STK) part of VIEWS enables users to develop and test STK applets on their PC. Since it is tightly integrated with the OTA host simulator, the interactions of the wireless phone application and the host can be thoroughly tested before making any SIM cards and putting them in phones.
