PhonePe now available at two million shops in Maharashtra, India

India-based online payments company PhonePe has announced that it is now available as a payment option at over two million shops in Maharashtra.

The firm has recently introduced several new features to assist offline merchant partners grow their business and attract more customers. The ‘stores' tab available on the PhonePe app enables the connection between PhonePe’s customers and offline stores.

The users also have an option to find offline shops in their area and place orders at their local kirana stores via the PhonePe mobile application. The ‘pay now' feature allows customers to make payments without scanning any QR codes.
