The new mPOS app is set to transform smartphones or tablets into a merchant device. Through this technology, merchants can accept payments made through traditional magnetic stripe, EMV chip, NFC platforms in addition to direct payments from a PayToo Mobile Wallet.
Under the agreement, PayToo adds its mobile wallet, while Mobilepaid provides proprietary software technologies that transform smartphones or tablets into a mPOS device, and AnywhereCommerce brings its mobile card-present payment accepting appliances.
In recent news, Paytoo has launched a mobile bill payment service dubbed PayToo Bill Payments that enables consumers to pay US billers from their mobile wallet platform. Users can pay utility bills, mortgage or car payments, credit cards and cable bills from their PayToo account even if they are abroad or if they dont have a US bank account.
