OpenTable pilots m-payments in San Francisco restaurants

OpenTable, a US company that provides online restaurant-reservation service, has begun a pilot program in San Francisco which allows customers to not just book a table, but also pay for their meal using the OpenTable iPhone app, online media outlet techcrunch.com reports.

According to the source, if invited to the pilot, customers will have to add a credit card to the OpenTable iPhone app before their meal.
