Mydin outlets enable payment via ShopeePay

Malaysia-based wholesale and retail chain Mydin has announced that its outlets nationwide will accept payment via ShopeePay.

According to Lowyat, the joint release with Shopee will enable consumers to make payments via a mobile phone app, highlighting the value of contactless payments during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Furthermore, the company will also launch a promotion that allows shoppers to receive a one-time special RM 4 cashback when they spend at least RM 10 and pay with ShopeePay at any Mydin retail outlet. The promotion is available until 28 February 2021, or until it is fully redeemed. 

Additionally, shoppers will get RM 3 cashback daily on their subsequent purchase at any branch when they spend a minimum of RM 15 in a single transaction, and first-time ShopeePay users will recieve a RM 8 voucher when they make their first transaction with a minimum spend of RM 25.
