Mobeewave, a mobile card payment acceptance company, and Elavon, a global payments provider, have partnered to develop a digital merchant onboarding process for the Samsung POS app.
Samsung POS enables micro and small businesses in Canada to accept physical contactless payments by tapping a card onto the back of their NFC-enabled mobile device – without the need for additional hardware.
Through this partnership, Mobeewave and Elavon have developed an onboarding process enabling merchants to electronically register for an account and start processing in under ten minutes – all from within the app. Elavon also provide the payment rails for Samsung POS that allow merchants to accept payments anytime, anywhere, and be paid instantly.
