Leaf launches Payment Apps POS-based marketplace

Leaf, a technology services provider, has unveiled the launch of Payment Apps, a marketplace through which merchant acquirers market their payment processing services to merchants using the Leaf POS system.

The Payment Apps marketplace is integrated into the Leaf POS platform. The marketplace provides merchants with a way to navigate a range of credit, debit, gift card and mobile wallet providers in one place.

In October 2013, Leaf closed USD 20 million in its first round of institutional funding from US-based payments processor Heartland Payment Systems.
