JUSP launches mPOS chip and PIN solution

JUSP, a provider of an all-in-one chip-and-pin mPOS solution for smartphones and tablets, has launched its device which connects directly into a smartphone or tablet audio jack..

With JUSP, merchants are enabled to handle transactions using a device which can be attached to smartphones and tablets to accept credit and debit cards in all countries except for the US. In order to carry out transactions, merchants need to use the free JUSP app, insert the customer’s card in the chip reader and let customers enter their PIN code.

JUSP is an emerging mPOS company which has a start-up of 400 beta customers in Italy. JUSP has an international business office in Singapore and has established a commercial division focused on corporate clients.

In recent news, JUSP has closed a USD 6 million equity round. The funding round was led by two Italian venture capital firms, Principia Sgr and Vertis Sgr, with the additional participation of a number of angel investors.
