Isis launches Isis Alliance Program

Isis, the US mobile commerce joint venture created by AT&T, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless, has launched the Isis Alliance Program.

The Isis Alliance Program aims to support merchant technology ecosystem partners with tools and resources that help them capitalize on the opportunities created by mobile commerce.

The Isis Mobile Commerce Platform enables merchants to deliver a personalized relationship with their customers through the Isis Mobile Wallet. It leverages the existing payments infrastructure, which means that a merchant with a contactless payment terminal can accept payments via the Isis Mobile Wallet.

A number of payment terminal manufacturers and software partners are integrating near field communications (NFC) mobile payments and Isis SmartTap capabilities into point-of-sale (POS) offerings. This enables Isis Mobile Wallet users to pay, present loyalty cards and redeem offers.

The Isis Mobile Wallet is available nationwide and accepted in a range of merchant environments such as mass transit, vending machines, fuel pumps, taxis, restaurants, grocery and retail stores.

In recent news, Isis has made the updated version of the Isis Mobile Wallet available to consumers for download in the Google Play app store and at AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless retail stores nationwide.
