Foursquare adds order delivery functionality for the US restaurants

Friday 31 January 2014 08:41 CET | News

Location-based social network Foursquare has teamed up with online ordering delivery provider GrubHub Seamless, to enable customers to order delivery from restaurants directly through Foursquare.

When a user is viewing a participating restaurant, a GrubHub or Seamless icon will appear at the bottom of the Foursquare app. Customers will be able to place the orders directly through the app.

Foursquare announced that 20,000 restaurants from across the US will have that function within Foursquare.

The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
