The mobile technology company Fortumo has announced the launch of the mobile operator 3Denmark on its direct carrier billing platform.
Fortumo’s merchants can now collect payments for games and digital content from more than 1 million subscribers of the telco by charging purchases to their postpaid phone bill.
Collecting carrier billing payments from 3Denmark subscribers is available to digital content merchants through Fortumo’s Hosted DCB product. This approach aims to help merchants to launch carrier billing in a scalable manner: one integration to Fortumo enables payments with 3Denmark and hundreds of other mobile operators across the world.
In recent news from Europe, Fortumo has announced launching direct carrier billing with the mobile operator Three in Ireland and with the game developer Epic Games across multiple countries of the region.
