Dime launches mobile banking

Financial services provider The Dime Savings Bank of Williamsburgh, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Dime Community Bancshares, has launched a mobile banking product dubbed Dime Mobile Banking, which allows users to pay bills, transfer funds, and check on account status from their smartphone.

Moreover, the mobile deposit functionality enables users to take a photo of their cheques and then transmit the deposit to the bank through their mobile device.

In Sebtember 2013, Dime inked an agreement with US banking and payments technology company FIS.
