CreditCall teams up with Thales

Tuesday 24 September 2013 00:36 CET | News

CreditCall, a card-not-present, e-commerce and contactless payment transactions processor, and Thales, a provider in information systems and communications security, have unveiled that that Thales payShield 9000 hardware security modules (HSMs) have been deployed to secure CreditCall’s CardEase Mobile application, enabling on-the-go payments for smaller merchants.

The CardEase Mobile application integrates Thales payShield HSMs with card readers from Miura and Spire to enable a point-to-point encryption (P2PE) zone to be established between the card acceptance point and the internet-based payment gateway.

CreditCall’s CardEase Mobile application enables merchants to use a smartphone or tablet together with a card reader to accept both EMV chip and PIN and magnetic stripe credit or debit card payments on-site.

In recent news, CreditCall has unveiled that its mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) service CardEase Mobile has been registered in the MasterCard Mobile Point-Of-Sale program.
