Cingular Wireless Renews Contract with Qpass

Cingular Wireless has renewed its contract for Qpass Prosperity Series software. Cingular has been using Prosperity Series for three years as the software platform behind their popular DirectBill service, which provides their 24 million plus subscribers with access to thousands of ringtones, graphics, games, and other premium services. In 2003, Cingular led the industry in total data revenue with an increase of almost 60% over 2002.Part of this growth was driven by the success of its DirectBill service, which by working with Qpass saw a 700% increase in average monthly revenue between 2002 and 2003. By utilizing Prosperity Series, Cingular has been able to streamline and improve the customer experience for premium services; subscribers can purchase products from their PC or directly from their mobile phones, placing charges on their post-paid bills or using their prepaid balance. The software includes standard connectors for most prepaid and postpaid billing systems, credit and debit cards, and even coupons. Prosperity Series was also able to support the rapid integration and management of multiple third-party content providers. Qpass Prosperity Series software enables quick implementation of Cingulars business rules, including those governing settlement, revenue distribution and payment methods. Using Qpass software, new providers and products can be easily integrated into Cingulars back end systems in just hours, rather than days to several weeks.
