Tuesday 31 December 2013 08:53 CET | News

Financial institution Bank of China has launched a mobile payment app for its credit card customers, which enables them to inquire about their electronic payment transaction records and set transaction limits.

Bank of China customers can use the mobile payment app without enrolling in the banks mobile banking service. However, unless they also use Bank of Chinas mobile banking service, customers are limited to USD 165 per mobile payment transaction.

In October, Bank of China launched the BOC Easy Payment mobile app, which enables consumers to transfer money between each others smartphones using NFC. They can also use the app to make in-store purchases using QR codes.
