As a result of the agreement, Prosa is set to deploy AnywhereCommerces ‘aCommerce Gateway’ for accepting credit, debit, cash and gift card payments, as well as the companys payment accepting software application and its line of mPOS devices, including the Walker model. Walker is EMVCo-certified and enables merchants to accept EMV as well as magnetic-stripe based card payments.
AnywhereCommerce payment acceptance devices uses an array of connectivity and encryption technologies — from USB and Bluetooth to patented audio jack connectivity — that transform smartphones and tablets into secure mobile card payments acceptance terminals. The products support a number of card-present magnetic stripe debit and credit card acceptance as well as gift card and loyalty program payments and operate on most mobile device operating systems, including Android, iOS and Windows mobile platforms.
