ABnote, a US-based card manufacturer and provider of financial and credentialing solutions, and On Track Innovations (OTI), an Israel-based provider of contactless transactions and near-field communication (NFC) solutions, have signed a collaboration agreement to enable NFC payments within ABnote’s mobile wallet.

Under the terms of the agreement, ABnote will provide OTIs new WAVE device, an audio jack plug-in component for smartphones, tablets and PCs, to enable NFC payment within ABnotes mobile wallet offering.

ABnotes mobile solutions are managed by its MasterCard(R) and Visa(R) certified Trusted Service Manager (TSM).

ABnotes primary products include EMV and mag stripe financial cards (debit and credit cards), identification and secure access cards (drivers licenses, national ID cards for governments worldwide, hotel and facility entry cards), commercial plastic cards (gift, loyalty and membership), secure documents (vital records, savings bonds, stock certificates, passports, and checks) and related services (including NFC mobile payments, TSM, personalisation, secure warehousing, distribution and fulfillment).

In June 2013, Praxell, a prepaid card program provider, Arroweye Solutions, a card marketing and production partner and American Banknote Corporation (ABnote) teamed up to launch an identification and banking card.
