Dyre malware attacks banks in Spain

The analysis shows that by updating its web injections to match the new banks being targeted in Spain, Dyres developers have broadened the abilities and reach of the malware. In addition to Spain, the hackers see opportunities to attack other Spanish-speaking countries such as Chile and Colombia.

Dyre infection rates in Spain are ranked third in Europe, following the UK and France. It targets banks all over the continent, leaving out only Russian and the former Soviet Union countries.
