This payment solution will enable members, especially kiranas/resellers, who shop online at Walmart Indias B2B ecommerce site, to make direct payments online from their bank account without sharing bank details, according to India Times.
The solution is aimed especially for kirana members that do not hold any credit/debit card nor have the time to visit banks for making RTGS payments.
The initiative reiterates the company’s commitment to streamline payments for small businesses, especially kiranas.
Earlier in July 2018, Walmart has announced that it would end its relationship with US credit card partner Synchrony, choosing Capital One to be the exclusive issuer of its cards.
