Vietnam-based digital commerce firm Nexttech Group has signed a three-year partnership with Visa to promote the adoption of digital payments among small businesses in Vietnam.

The two companies will work on a range of initiatives to expand the network of sellers and buyers on social commerce platforms. This includes creating means for online payments through links on social networks and other online platforms.

According to the e-Conomy SEA 2019 report by Google, Temasek, and Bain, cited by techinasia.com, Vietnam’s ecommerce segment had a valuation of USD 5 billion in 2019 and is expected to reach USD 23 billion by 2025.
