Through the partnership, Trustly will support Zalando in its expansion into Lithuania, where Zalando recently launched, as well as Estonia and Latvia, enabling its shoppers to pay directly from their bank accounts.
According to the press release issued by Trustly, across Europe, shoppers have different payment preferences, and shoppers in the Baltic states show an especially high preference for online banking payments. By offering a preferred payment method like Trustly, Zalando will be able to localise its offering and increase conversion at the checkout in its new markets.
