Monday 3 January 2022 11:43 CET | News

Fintech startup Skio has raised over USD 3.7 million in seed funding to help Shopify merchants sell subscriptions.

The seed round was led by venture capital fund Adjacent, while other investors include Y Combinator, and various other CEOs, founders, and co-founders of successful fintech startups.

The company’s goal is to boost Shopify merchants’ visibility by helping them sell subscriptions in a simple and easy manner. According to Skio’s officials, the fintech can help Shopify merchants edit subscriptions 10 times faster, reduce customer tickets by 60% through a password-less login, and increase conversion rates by over 70% using a one-click checkout technology.

Skio’s staff has a combined experience from Hulu, Amazon, Pinterest, and Microsoft and aims to expand its solutions towards other ecommerce platforms in the future.
