UK-based ecommerce company that sells personalised stationery, Papier, has raised USD 50 million to continue expanding its online business with paper-based stationery.

The Series C funding round was led by Paris VC Singular and received backing from previous investors Beringea and Felix Capital. The startup received a total of USD 65 million in funding so far but has not disclosed its valuation.

The company will use the new funds to continue its expansion and introduce new products to its ecommerce platform, including pens and other office supplies like writing utensils and desk storage.

Its business idea of becoming a well-known brand in the industry consists of offering paper-based products with a modern approach, to engage younger consumers. The company uses modern graphics for its cover designs and has collaborated with renowned names like Mother of Pearl and V&A, among others.
