Otto Group registers EUR 6.6 billion in online turnover in 2013/14

The German ecommerce company Otto Group has reached a total online revenue of EUR 6.6 billion in the financial year 2013/14, e-commercefacts.com reports.

The total amount is generated by the company’s more than 100 ecommerce stores around the world. Moreover, the company recorded EUR 12 billion in total revenues, thus achieving a profit of 23% to EUR 179 million.

In early 2014, Otto Group acquired the asset protection systems company 3SI’s B2C ecommerce and service activities in France, in order to be able to develop these further in the direction of ecommerce. Turnover at the French 3SI Group declined as planned by a further 8.3 % to EUR 1.536 million.
