Coles Online will be able to serve a larger customer base through two new robotic customer-fulfilment centres operated by both companies – one in Sydney and one in Melbourne, according to Ocado. It expects the centres to be operational within four years.
Coles will pay Ocado signing fees upfront and during the development phase, as well as ongoing sales-based fees for Ocado’s suite of support and engineering services.
