JD partners Intel to develop e-customer experience solutions

JD.com, a Chinese online retailer, has signed an agreement with Intel to set up a joint innovation laboratory that will explore real sense shopping online, investors.com reports, citing Xinhua.

The agreement reportedly involves developing applications such as 3D product display and visual fitting rooms for the JD.com website.

The partnership will promote new applications to improve JDs e-commerce that include digital image processing, database monitoring and website security. Shares of both rose around 1%.
