Impulsify, Shift4 partner to expand self-pay retail option

Friday 15 January 2021 12:33 CET | News

US-based retail tech company Impulsify and secure payments solution provider Shift4 Payments are teaming up to integrate Impulsify's self-pay retail technology with Shift4's contactless payments.
The partnership aims to expand contactless grab-and-go retail across hospitality, retail and other industries, according to a press release. Customers will be able to take advantage of free contactless credit card terminals — each a USD 400 value — as well as a USD 1,000 credit toward processing fees when they sign up.

The news comes as COVID-19 is driving consumer adoption of full contactless transactions and interactions as well as meeting increasing consumer demand for a more convenient shopping experience.

Impulsify provides self-service retail technology, design services, and business intelligence for commercial real estate common areas like hotel lobbies, co-working spaces and multi-family residential complexes. Shift4 Payments is a provider of integrated payment processing and technology solutions, as well as commerce-enabling services.
