Germanys retail turnover to witness overall increase in 2014

In 2014, the overall retail turnover will increase by 1.2% in Germany, according to the “GFK Retail Turnover” study released by the market research industry GFK, cited by ecommercenews.eu.

Online sales in Germany will surpass the  brick-and-mortar retail sales which are expected to reach EUR 408 billion in 2014, down by 1%, as compared to 2013.
