Flexiti enters agreement to be acquired by CURO

Tuesday 2 February 2021 14:54 CET | News

Canada-based provider of POS consumer financing solutions Flexiti Financial has announced that it has entered into an agreement to be acquired by CURO Group Holdings, a provider of credit to non-prime consumers.

The total consideration of the acquisition is USD 120 million, based on the achievement of certain performance targets. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2021, subject to certain closing conditions. Flexiti will continue to operate as a standalone business in Canada following the close of the transaction.

Flexiti was founded in 2013 and provides buy-now-pay-later services in Canada, offering an omni-channel proprietary platform that requires no POS integration with its merchant partners.

CURO is a provider of credit to non-prime consumers through a network of stores in the US and Canada and online direct-to-consumer brands.
