Facebook continues its ecommerce quest

Monday 5 May 2014 00:45 CET | News

Facebook has partnered the ecommerce site builder, Ecwid, in order to allow the latter`s 450,000 merchants to integrate the Autofill With Facebook service.

By using Autofill with Facebook customers can pull in credit card, billing, and shipping data that has been stored, personally, on the social media website.

Facebook offers the service to merchants for no extra fees and the information gathered by means of customer clicks will be used for improving the targeted ad sales process.

The partnership in question will enable Facebook’s program access to hundreds of thousands of developers in 117 different countries.
