epay, a division of global provider of electronic payment and transaction processing services Euronet Worldwide, has partnered with PayPal to offer Digital Gift Codes to PayPal customers.

The epay digital gift will be available throughout PayPal’s Digital Gift store.

Digital gift cards are becoming increasingly popular around the world, both as gifts and for self-use. PayPal users in the US, UK and Germany will have access to a digital gift card brand by logging into their PayPal account online or within their mobile application. The experience allows consumers to select from multiple denominations of digital gift codes. Consumers are then able to use funds from their PayPal account to complete the purchase of the digital gift codes, which are available for self-use or are delivered via email as a gift.

epay delivers electronic payment, cash collection services including POS systems integration, settlement and reporting service as well as marketing and distribution service support. The company serves approximately 293,000 retailers across a number of markets such as Australia, the UK and the US. WorldPay has 75 national and international payment methods and operates in over 40 countries worldwide.

In recent news, Loop Commerce has secured an investment from PayPal as part of the companys Series A funding.
