Nigeria-based consumer credit company has released its BNPL platform, CredPal Pay, on the African market.
The product aims to help businesses grow faster and increase sales through Buy Now, Pay Later services.

CredPal Pay offers payments via QR codes, BNPL options, a checkout plugin that allows merchants to upsell on their online stores, as well as an integrated management system where vendors can view orders and reconcile payments.

According to nairametrics.com, the company is the first fintech to introduce BNPL in Nigeria and allows hundreds of merchants from different industries to sell their products through an integrated platform. It has already announced partnerships with Slot Limited and JustRite Stores, among others.

The economic impact of COVID-19 in Nigeria has reportedly urged customers to reconsider online shopping and, as the market evolves, clients are looking for alternative payment methods and perks to stimulate buying, including BNPL solutions.
