Bharti Airtel, Shopify partner to offer DIY e-commerce platform to SME

Telecommunication services company Bharti Airtel has partnered Canadian e-commerce platform Shopify to offer e-commerce solution to its SOHO and SME customers by provisioning the service through its cloud platform.

Shopify has Airtel’s data solutions such as DSL, ILP, 3G and 4G and it will offer design templates, payment gateway integration, web dashboard to manage products, shopping cart, hosting, SEO tools, email marketing, social media integration with USD50 worth Facebook credit, inventory management and analytics.

Airtel’s existing SAAS portfolio includes ERP, Tally, Accounting packages and CRM management, among others. Airtel had also entered into a partnership with Microsoft to offer Microsoft 365 suite along with its DSL and Internet Leased Lines offerings for businesses.

Shopify is an online software-as-a-service e-commerce platform that enables entrepreneurs to create digital shopfronts. Shopify allows entrepreneurs to open up their own online shop and distribute their products online.
