Azerbaijan: ecommerce makes headway with 30% increase in Q1 2014

Azerbaijan has recorded a 30% increase or USD 872,327 (AZN 683,700) in the ecommerce market in Q1 2014, according to a report of the country’s State Statistical Committee.

In Q1 2013, the country’s ecommerce business grew by 31%, according to the same report. By 1 April 2014, 81.7% of the goods bought by the customers were by legal entities and 18.3% by civilians.
