Taiwan-based computer provider Asus has entered the Chinese ecommerce market with an e-store that offers its ZenFone mobile phones, according to online media outlet zdnet.com.

Asus has joined forces with ecommerce vendor Uitox to launch a joint venture, Asus Digital International (ADI), in which Asus will hold 80% of shares while the partner will own the remaining stake.

ADI is expected to open in the first half of April 2014, operating as an Asus e-store.
