Thursday 14 May 2020 12:43 CET | News

Australia-based fintech Verteva has raised USD 21.4 million in a Series A round from New Zealand-based investment company Bolton Equities.

According to Nikkei Asian Review, the fintech aims to build a digital alternative for customers in the home lending space. Home loans originate in face-to-face meetings and using paper-based forms and credit assessment processes. Therefore, Verteva wants to combine technology, data-driven insights, and digital customer journeys to reshape the home lending experience for customers.

The startup plans to use the fresh funding for new market entry, product development, and business expansion.
