Proactis, a global spend control and e-procurement solution provider, has won a deal with the UK governments GCloud V initiative, to provide spend control and e-procurement services directly to government, health and education organisations through the cloud.

Under the governments Cloud First policy, public-sector organisations are required to evaluate cloud services before other technology services. Proactis has been chosen to join the GCloud framework after the evaluation of its services.

In March 2014, Proactis raised GBP 2.2 million in funding.
