Xpress-pay offers its SubscripXion Plan for secure payments

Friday 28 December 2018 11:42 CET | News

Xpress-pay has stated it is offering merchants a SubscripXion Plan to begin accepting online and mobile payments through their secure portal.

The plan is offered in two tiers, and it allows merchants to pay either a USD 10 per month to accept unlimited credit card or eCheck (ACH) ePayments for free, or USD 15 per month to accept both unlimited cards and eChecks. The monthly fee payed by the merchants covers their typical account administrative costs. On the other hand, a site fee, paid by the consumer for delivery and security costs, covers the rest. This way, merchants receive 100% of the amount theyre due. However, the only costs merchants may incur are for fees associated with their merchant account, including chargebacks, NSFs, and others.

The purpose behind Xpress-pay’s offer is to increase penetration in both the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) and Business-to-Business (B2B) digital payments spaces. They currently serve organisations in verticals, such as insurance, government, utilities, property management, and other service-oriented businesses. The company argues that fraud is almost nonexistent in these verticals, chargebacks are nominal, and the average tickets are significantly higher than in retail.
