The announcement follows a USD 11.7 million Series-A funding received by the company at the end of 2019. Tookitaki is a Singapore-based next-generation regulatory technology company, which was founded by JP Morgan veteran Abhishek Chatterjee, CEO. It works with global banks and financial institutions to tackle regulatory compliance-related issues using machine learning and Big Data analytics.

Tookitaki was formed from this need to provide sustainable compliance programs in the banking and financial services industry (BFS). Recently, the company has filed a patent on explainable AI and machine learning framework and models to bring transparency into the validation process and output interpretability by banking customers and regulators.
