MasterCard enables corporate card use for all digital wallets

Wednesday 21 October 2015 10:35 CET | News

MasterCard has revealed it will provide tokenisation services to commercial credit card issuers, enabling corporations and business travelers to load eligible corporate credit cards within participating mobile and digital wallet services.

Following this addition, MasterCard will be able to provide tokenisation services across all its products, including consumer credit, debit and prepaid cards, as well as small business and commercial cards. The functionality is made possible through the MasterCard Digital Enablement Service (MDES), which enables a connected device to be used for business purchases and payments.

Major merchants frequented by business travelers already accept contactless and in-app payments from digital wallet solutions.
