CLEAR partners with Microsoft for digital identity solutions

Wednesday 10 November 2021 12:52 CET | News

Clear, a US-based consumer services company, has teamed up with Microsoft for its Azure Active Directory (AD), a digital identity solution where users confirm information about themselves.

This collaboration will enable participating CLEAR members to securely verify and share digital credentials verified by CLEAR with Microsoft enabled partners. Credentials could include health records, vaccination status, age validation and other information.

Microsoft is collaborating with identity companies to improve the secure exchange of verified information and credentials. Azure AD verified credentials will allow enterprises and organisations to verify specific information about an individual without storing or collecting more information than needed, augmenting users with control over how they share personal data.
