The company has mentioned that it is ready to include virtual currencies as an addition payment mode on its platform. Western Union already deals with 130 global currencies, and they say they have the facilities to reduce the current gap between digital assets and the fiat financial systems, as the company has more than half a million retail agent locations across the world.
Western Union has already started testing XRP as an option for international remittances, and these tests are still ongoing.
