BitPay allows merchant to pay from any Bitcoin wallet

Wednesday 5 February 2020 12:19 CET | News

BitPay has revealed that it will soon allow all BitPay invoices to be paid from any Bitcoin wallet or exchange, but it already started a phased rollout.

The decision was driven by merchant feedback, and enables merchants to have control and decide from which wallets they’ll accept payments. Consumers will have the option to use any wallet to make purchases with their favourite merchant.

Moreover, merchants benefit from features such as no chargebacks and low processing fees, as well as from the ability to accept Bitcoin payments from any wallet which will expand their potential to grow sales and acquire new customers.
