The new service was made possible via a partnership with global payment processor Simplex, and it is meant to allow clients to use their debit and credit cards to purchase Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Ripple (XRP) over Huobis P2P exchange.
Among the reasons behind Huobi’s decision to chose Simplex are the security that comes from dealing with an EU-licensed financial institution, and the fraud protections enabled through innovative machine-learning algorithms. In addition to Visa and Mastercard, Simplex also accepts some virtual and prepaid cards.
