TranSend International Inc., the creator of the PocketServer(TM) software used by more than 4 million people in smart card applications, announced that they are holding a summit with various financial institutions in Europe beginning May 16, 2005.

There has been such interest in our EMV smart card software solution that its made an extension of our European summit necessary. This will allow us to meet personally with the decision makers of many more financial institutions and give them a chance to have hands-on experience with our product, said Dan Wright, president of TranSend International Inc. While smart cards popularity is just emerging in the United States, Europe has been taking advantage of this technology for years. Users love the simplicity and convenience of the Web shopping experience, and knowing that their data is securely stored on their EMV card, which is removed from the connected reader when not being used, Wright continued. PocketServer(TM) is beneficial to financial institutions because it protects their customers against identity theft, builds user confidence to use the Web for banking and shopping, and increases profitability by increasing the amount of fees and interest income from the additional Web shopping. PocketServer(TM) also improves customer retention by lowering attrition by 50%. Wright will be in the following cities on the following days and can be contacted at the numbers provided.
